Yael Avnon, PT, DPT

Yael graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from SUNY Downstate in 2011. She has trained with Herman and Wallace pelvic rehabilitation Institute for pelvic floor dysfunction and treatment for pediatrics and adults and has done many hours of mentoring with specialists in the field to be able to best serve this population.

 

Yael is also a board certified pediatric clinical specialist. She is in trained in Task Specific Electrical Stimulation, Biofeedback, orthopedic and lower extremity management, Neuro-developmental Treatment and is certified in aquatic therapy.

 

She worked for NYU inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation for several years before moving to the private practice sector.

 

Yael specializes in Pelvic floor work for children, teens and adults, Pediatric physical therapy and Aquatic Therapy.
